Project Management Office Manager
The Materials Services segment ensures with its 480 sites in more than 40 countries that customers can concentrate on what really matters: their core business. As part of the strategic transformation "Materials as a Service" the largest materials and distribution provider in the western world is focusing on two main areas of activity: global materials distribution and customized services. Your Tasks & Responsibilities
In your role as PMO Manager (m/f/diverse), you will structure, coordinate and review dedicated work streams or projects of the strategical roadmap of the Operating Unit Middle Eastern Europe Asia Pacific.
You are responsible for the transfer of project results to the respective project documentation, the coordination of project results with the involved business process owners and the
follow-up.
You report on the status, progress and controlling of the projects/ work streams/ measures to the OU PMO.
You will develop standards, methods and tools to improve project management awareness and future ways of working.
You identify fields with improvement potential, proactively point them out and implement them in coordination with the relevant stakeholders.
As an interface to the operational project managers, you ensure the return of best practices and specifications to the operational project work.
Your Profile
Degree within business management, business engineer or business informatics. Master Degree is advantageous.
You have already gained first experience with project management, project offices or complex projects.
You have in-depth knowledge of common project management methods and tools.
You convince your environment with a safe, professional and cooperative appearance.
Strong motivation to go new ways, make the difference and high resilience.
You have a high level of self-initiative, flexibility and management-of-change skills that you use in our complex and international environment.
You enjoy team work, have an affinity for IT as well as a good command of MS Office usage and remote work.
Full professional proficiency English language skills.
