We are searching for our company in Romania being part of the Operating Unit Middle Eastern Europe within the segment Materials Services a

Technical advisor/ sales engineer

About the role:


  • Design, develop and place new products/servicess on the market in cooperation with subcontractor/ partners for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential

  • Regular visits to subcontracts/ partners and identify number of potentional subcontracts/ partners

  • Keep customer records

  • Monitor subcontractor’s/ partners activities and compliance to assure fulfillment of all agreed terms and quality requirements

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements

  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance/ support

  • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required Analyze costs and sales

  • Reports to head of technical sales

  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects

  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs

  • Cooperate with other members of the sales team

The successful applicant:

  • M.Sc./B.Sc. mechanical engineer

  • At least 5 years of working experience in metal processing

  • Experience in sales will be considered an advantage

  • Fluent in English and/or German

  • MS Windows, Autocad

  • Extensive knowledge of materials technical specifications and metal processing

  • Pro-active and self-motivated person

  • Commercial awareness and hands on approach

  •  Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills

  •  Ability to prioritize

  •  High level of integrity

  •  Ambitious and persistent


Place of employment:

  • Timisoara or Arad
